Bejidé Davis, Attorney
"I was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. Even though I have moved through other cities (Atlanta, New York), I will represent Lansing forever. It has made me who I am. I graduated from J.W. Sexton High School in 2005 and attended Spelman College, pursuing a degree in Economics with a minor in Management & Organization, graduating summa cum laude in 2009. Sure of my destiny as an attorney, I enrolled in Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia for law school, and graduated in 2012. After graduating from law school, I moved to New York to work in a corporate law firm - Shearman & Sterling. I stayed at Shearman & Sterling for about 3 years, working on various matters for large corporations and banks in various fields (mergers and acquisitions, finance, project finance, capital markets, etc.) before moving to a different law firm, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, where I specialized in corporate and entertainment film finance. In February 2018, I left Morgan, Lewis & Bockius to pursue a career as a full-time entertainment attorney at Gray Krauss Sandler Des Rocher LLP. At GKSD, I work with various production companies and individual talent to help them bring the visions of their films and projects to life." Contact us here to become Bejidé's mentee! |
