I graduated from Spelman College in 2009 with a degree in economics and in 2015 with a masters degree in Strategic Design and Management. Originally from Portland, OR, I have spent a lot of time over the years mentoring and coaching young African American girls through academia and athletic pursuits. As a former ice-skater, I really value the lessons that a commitment to sport can exude across all facets of life. Since high-school, I have traveled the world to learn new languages, soak up knowledge from cultures out side of my own and find ways to always bring a global perspective to my work." Hallie Wycoff, Social Media Marketer
As a senior digital strategist in Chicago, I grow engaged online communities while measuring overall success and ROI for our service. I specialize in content creation and digital strategy with experience in day-to-day community management, developing integrated marketing strategies, creating consistent brand voice for all communications, crisis management and creation of content - writing and designing of graphics. I attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, where I changed my major a few times before graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Communications (other majors included Sports Management and Graphic Design). I began my career in the sports world, working with Michigan State Athletic Department’s communications team. While in college, I began working for Nike writing social media content for both local and national campaigns, and helping to roll out the Twitter RSVP process for footwear launches. After Nike, I worked for one season in the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves on their Public Relations team (2012-2013 season) before moving to Chicago to gain more experience in an agency setting. I was lucky to work at a global agency, managing social media strategy and influencontent for more than 15 well-known brands across the US which also included travel for work and new business pitches.
